During a "high times" conversation with some friends, this came to my mind:

We have heard in Mexico´s news and USA´s news at local cable channels about drug dealers in Mexico, Colombia, etc., but we never heard of drug dealers in the US, we only hear about small time drug sellers but not the big drug dealers, the ones in charge of the channels of distribution of the "merchandise" in the US. We only know until the drug crossed the border, but not after that.

Are we missing something?, conspiracy theory?, covert up of UFOs ? only crap television content we get from the US ?

Thats where the majority of the dope comes from. The Mexicans are taking over the meth trade, and South America still pwns the cocaine industry. Big time suppliers in the U.S. get busted, but you never seem to hear about it cause the media is too interested in telling us about Lindsay Lohan's crotch.

Reginald Levell Odom
U.S. Marshals say they've caught a major player in a Mississippi drug trafficking ring.

They arrested 33-year old Reginald Levell Odom this week in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Authorities say Odom was based out of the Port Gibson area, but his drug ring extended into the northern district of Mississippi, Jackson and across state lines.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Gregg Kennedy said, "He will basically be the leader or organizer. That's why he's charged with a continuing criminal enterprise or the actual leader or organizer having more of a participation in the distribution of the drugs."

Odom will be brought to Mississippi in a few days. A federal magistrate will then set a trial date.

He was arrested cause the mexican federal police asked for it (he even got interviewed before the arrest by a US tv channel). The FBI wanted a share, but it all faded away rapidly in the "government"

I have read about large-scale drug busts here in the US.

WHere was it in the Mid-West they just got $5 Million worth of weed.  See the front page of Officer.com , they have a pic of the dog that found it sitting on top of the whole pile. If dude had THAT much weed he was a pretty major supplier.

Last week in Philadlphia they took down two guys living in a luxury Apt filled with the stuff.  These guys operated for years.

There are big-time dealers here in the US and they are arrested on a fairly regular basis.

With the demand here in the US they'll never be able to stop illegal drug use & sales.
