well i got tired of the really gay sound of the 50cal on bf2, i mean come on it sound so bad and and fells like it has no power, or the real 50cal kick, so i made this video ea can get off there ass and make a real 50cal. This is the 50cal from BF desert combat, it sound like a real 50cal i might add.

i dont mind the ones in the game.

the only thing that bugs me is how insanely accurate they are, when the guns like the Saw and PKM could barely hit the broadside of a barn.

never played DC much.  was to "gamey" for me.  normaly played FH, EOD, or XWW2 in 1942.

Mostly I have an issue with the damge done.  a .50 cal can just ever so barely miss, and still remove your arm.  Yet in this game, a chest shot to an unarmored soldier just hurts.

Yeah well the recoil from the 50 cal is being absorbed by a 4000 pound vehicle.  The recoil from a PKM is being absorbed by a 200 pound guy.  Plus the gun itself weighs over 80 pounds, whereas the PKM weighs about 16 pounds.  So I think it's easy to see why the 50 cal might be a little more accurate.

I think they need to fix ALL the gun sounds. they all sound like they're little pea-shooters.
The SAW needs to sound like it does in America's Army. That is a beast.

Having fired thousands of rounds through a real M2 .50 cal , I would say that the sound that is most realistic is the one on BF2. Not to mention rate of fire in BF2 seems more spot on. BFDC's .50 cal sounds nothing like a real M2, plus it's rate of fire seems extremely fast.

The BF2 'ma deuce' is more a accurate representation of the real thing IMO.
