I've noticed that people here in these forums like to use a player's stats as a reference to what the person is like, or mostly to mock them or what not.

This seems like a really shallow/ stupid thing to do. A player's stats tell you nothing of what the person is truly like, just how they play this particular game. Sometimes, when a player of low rank tries to make a point, some ass usually shoot him down with "stFu n00b, yer stats suxxor!!!111 lolz" or some other inane drivel. Perhaps they have some insight into the thread? They may have prior service in other FPS'? Who knows?

Anyway, judging a man (or woman) by thier stats seems a completely retarded thing to do, and seems to be the only retort for the kiddies and the feeble minded.

Feels a bit like online racism!

no racism, more of eliteism.  You don't like some one because they have not done somthing as much/aswell as you.  not because of what thier parents were.

And saying that this seems like a completely "retarded" thing to do is okay? How would a retarded person feel about your comment? You are judging with your statement so why is it NOT CORRECT if someone else does the same? Maybe it isn't the "kiddies" and the "feeble minded" that are in the wrong. I find it ironic how this statement shows the kind of person that you are.

And the kind of person you are. Like you've never called someone retarded? Please. Also, at the risk of being called an asshole, it's not a judgement! Mentally handicapped people DO have a problem. It totally sucks, but it's real, not a condition brought about by one's ubringing or social mores.

Don't try and be the moral police officer, you more than likely don't qualify.
