That guy really flies off the chain, geez.
I understand having a negative political view of a certain "opposing" group of people... everyone does it.
However, if you forget that every person is a human, it opens you up to a lot of evil.
Marines, I believe, are desensitized to a point where they HAVE to forget that they're killing human beings, and thus... you get reactions like his.
My cousin's friend, i've known since I was little. He used to be very mild mannered and respectful, and since he went to Iraq and came back, he's been thrown in jail twice. Once for beating his wife and once for punching a guy from Saudi Arabia at a bar.
And he had been thrown out of the same bar before for an altercation with another person from Saudi Arabia. He called him a "terrorist." And the Saudi guy called him a "fascist."
I'm not saying all marines are like this, but I know i've seen one person drastically changed for the worse since going to war, so I know it can do it to others.

Im 29 and I have already had my bachelors for a few years now. After I got out of the Marine Corps, of course. I have my own house, family, 2007 Chevy 2500 HD, my wife drives a 2006 Trailblazer which sometimes tows my boat out of Connecticut( one of the wealthiest states in the nation) up to my families lake house in Vermont. I don't think it's the person at fault here... but rather the war. I've never been there, but I can imagine that the things that happen during war can be enough to shake people's minds for the worst.djphetal wrote:

Cam you're right on. Again. My logical reasoning tells me to stop adding, but fuckit, this guy is a dim-witted arse sniffer.
oh most certainly it's the fault of the war. That's what I'm saying, that the common experience of battle leads to many marines acting in similar ways.Hurricane wrote:

freedom of speech. and i'm even telling the truth...
there is no freedom of speech my friend. This is a private site. It is freedom of what they want. Deal with it.c14u53w172 wrote:

You don't have that here. This is a private forum. And you don't speak the truth, because you don't know any regarding the US Marines, etc. Please refrain, attention whore.c14u53w172 wrote:

For an educated 27 year old (how wise!) you sure don't know much about freedom of speech and how it relates with private property laws.c14u53w172 wrote:
