Alpha, surely this new registration process has cut down new members by quite a bit? When I joined, I knew little about bf2s and nothing about the community which was nothing compared to what it is now, I most likely wouldn't have joined if I had to go through a process similiar to this.

about cdogmn, I could smell that guy, also he always has the same hostname.
And cdog is unimaginative, he always uses some variation of cdogmn or bf2mario or something like that.
I can't say that i minded going through the process. It's just another step, like the email verification. And if it helps cut out the nobs who wan't to ruin the forums then i'm all for it. Unless people think i'm one of those nobs but i think the large majority of my posts have been helpful.
