PC Buyer's Guide Christmas 2007
An interesting guide by Guru3D. I thought they would have picked something more like and a higher speed Dual Core or Quad core processor. The GPU wasn't a surprise.

And you were one at one point. So it's helping the people who aren't interested in becoming enthusiasts but want to build a good PC.

You are not becoming less of a newb by looking at what things to buy, I figured it out and got advice and took time to do the research on my first one. Too many people are lazy now-a-days.

Really? Because I'd consider myself an advanced PC enthusiast and guess how I learned my knowledge? A PC building book, browsing on newegg and looking at guides.

I opened up a few that I had, took em apart and put them back together. Then found out what Newegg was, then I found out about compatability from a friend, etc.

Oh, so you took them apart and put them back together? That teaches you about as much about computers as assembling a LEGO model teaches you about plastics.

It appears as if you're eager to portray yourself as an oracle of computing knowledge. That message doesn't really come across when you bash articles for having laymen as their intended audience. You were a newbie yourself.

I stray away from flame wars, egos on the internet are comical to me. I actually learned a good deal from this, so think what you will.
