no, oldies are on that list too
oldest I saw was 3 weeks. 1 month membership maybe?
I see some 1year members there
Lol, I see my "Whine at the mods whiles I'm banned" profile.
I think it's for those who hasn't made a "O HAI" post in the Hello section.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Oh yeah I'm dumb. Guess I don't know then.Ruckel wrote:

This is the new user sign-up system you may have heard about. To get an account here one must sign up in the way most of you are familliar with, authenticate the account through E-mail and then post a thread in a section called "Say Hello!" As "new" members this is the only forum section they can view and access.
There new members explain a bit about who they are, what they do and why they want to become a part of this site. If a moderator or administrator approves this they are given full member status. If not they are declined and if need be, their "noob" account is banned, (if they continue to post crap in the "Say Hello!" sectioin.) It has helped shield the community from a lot of people who are, to say the least, less than desirable.
Obviously this has also made it much harder for people to try to create ban evasion accounts. Keep it in mind.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
guess he deleted it, but on a side note, how did you get a screen shot of that? do you just take them randomly and have that one?max wrote:

Yeah don't worry about it, it was just stuff you already knew. Didn't really explain the 1 year plus members in the noob grouping, as to that I only have guesses - I guess it's members who have been banned who have been allowed to have a chance to reapply, either that or just a bug on Gibson's part.
Jeff'll know anyways.
I undeleated the post just for the Hell of it. As to your comment Max it's a lot harder to be incognito as you may think. A few may sneak through but if you've got someone like OrangeHound contemplating whether to authenticate you or not you're more likely to get caught out. There always seems to be little clues to link people, whether it be similar ip addresses or similar ways of writing. Orange knows all the tricks anyway, I don't.
Suffice to say though that new members aren't just taken at their word.
