Depends, a GTX will clinche it in call of duty 4

GTS will win in Crysis, depends on what you play

Overall, a GTX still pulls out the higher fps though, atleast from what I have seen.

At that price, I would get the 8800GTX, considering the GTS is cheaper than £250.

No, not anymore. In the new benchmarks, the GTS has outperformed the GTX and nearly outperformed the ULTRA. Also, the proper drivers are not out yet, so that will add another performance boost. The GTS all the way. It will last longer and is more powerful.

by "last longer" do you mean in 3 months?  cuz that's how long i had my gts before it was outdated.  fraking bullshit.  get what you want dude.  i'd get the gts myself since it just came out and will probably last you 3 months before a new version comes out.

I love my 8800 gts g92.  it's cheaper + performs almost as well as the ultra in some cases

GTX - more memory bandwidth.

GTS. Faster, better and far less power hungry.

End of story.

Now, are all these benchmarks where the GTS performs against the GTX on PCI-e 2.0, or PCI-e 1.1?
