So, guys elighten me...
What is you favourite Christmas dinner ? Good old mom food, fancy restaurant dinner ? And what is the most common shristmas dinner in your country ?
In my family (which only consits of my mother) we mostly have a cheese fondue (not very fancy but one of my favourites) while the rest of Germany normally goes with goose or fish.

What about you ?

Merry christmas !

Massive Family reunion barbecue. We go all over the state (almost), depending on whose house it's being held at.

Fondue Chinoise:
Everyone gets raw meat, and puts it into a big boiling pot of bouillon to cook, then eats. Repeat until full. It's my favorite meal ever.
Tradition in our family for 7 years now

mom cooks always. Usually it's some sort of roast. She cooks the best, fancy food all year round, so xmas is nothing really special. In fact, there is no restaurant in the world (and I've been to many) that deserves to kiss my moms boots. <3
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Last year it was the 12 of us. So we had:

Venison rack
Roast Beef
Roast Turkey
Roast pototoes in goose fat
Roast parsnips
Loads of other stuff I can't remember.

Cheese fondue does sound good.

Xmas eve: Booze and more Booze.
Xmas Day: Roast Turkey which has been stuffed with sage and onion stuffing and then had some bacon wrapped over the top. Roast Potatoes, Carrots, Parsnips (which have also been drizzled with honey), boiled brussel sprouts, gravy, bread sauce, and mini sausages wrapped in bacon!
Boxing Day (26th): Roast Beef or Ham with all the trimmings.

ahhh, good times.
