Let's focus on the immediate reasons why polluting less is a good thing and leave the debating to political extremists.
The real issue here is treating the natural world better... I think that's what people on the global warming side believe. The people on the other side, who go to great lengths to make it a political issue, well.... I just don't see what they're trying to accomplish. I think they need something to argue about, because agreeing with people on the whole tree hugger issue would make them look less conservative.
Ya I generalized. But who cares, right? USmarine just called everyone who believes in global warming "sheep who follow hollyweirdos", and then got laughs from other conservatives. Joke was pretty lame tbh, and not true.
