Mic's not picking up.

Earlier today I would configure my mic to use in-game in BF2, but I couldn't get it to work ..

I tried anything on my mind, re-plugging in the mic, configure in BF2 VOIP settings, SoundMax control panel ..

It's the mic that comes with the Icemat Siberia headset .

Any clue what could have caused this?

Sound Options > Recording options > Make sure there is a "check" under Microphone.

As for the bf2 voip settings, try setting the microphone threshold to 1% or 0%

I see no Recording options.

Does the mic works in any other game or application besides bf2 (ts for example)?
The mic might be muted.

Can't get the mic working at all!

Control Panel > Sounds And Audio Devices > Audio > Sound Recording Volume > Make sure "Microphone" is checked.

Also try the advanced button. If there is an option for "Alternate Microphone", try checking or unchecking that box.
