you guys have to remember that, the primary purpose of this website WAS stat-viewing for bf2... im sure that the forum usage has surpassed the stats-usage, at least for registered members. this did not turn into a 2142 site (thank god), but what about "bf3"? who cares? who knows? most of the people who use this site will not be playing video games in 20 years i would bet.

I think the site is pretty much self-sufficient...barring any major e-drama and he doesn't have to pay much out of pocket, I don't see why it wouldn't be around.
