Okay well I use an external hard drive to store all my music and stuff, but some games force me to have it plugged in to install them, then even though I don't install them to a directory on the external hard drive, when I save in them, it creates a new documents folder on the external drive and saves to there. I solved this problem in bioshock by just unplugging the drive before I play, forcing it to save the the domestic hard drive, but in Call of Juarez, it just crashes when tryin to load the main town bit!

Is there anyway I can stop games from creating a documents folder and saving to there?

Anyone know why it only happens with certain games, when all my others save to the right place?

I'm running windows vista business 32bit

Its location is set to the default under vista, but some games create one on the external HDD (which really annoys me, as it shouldnt be happening)
