Hi guys just wondered if you could give me any tips on getting the expert pistol badge?

I have about 420 kills, so it wont be long before i go for it, its the last badge I need before getting the expert  infentry medal.

But I am having trouble getting lots of pistol kills in a round, hell some times i unload a full mag into a medic and he still has time to knife me (this happen twice on a karkand server).

I thinking this badge is going to be alot harder than the knife one, I maen with the knife its a one hit kill weapon.

So any tips on getting lots of pistol kills in a round would be much Appreciated

Its truelly a hard medal to get. I need a lot of kills with my pistol before I can even trying to get this medal. But matbe this link can give u any help.

I am a Pro with the Pistol, only a handfull of players out of the entire lot of everyone are as good or better then me. The Pistol is retardedly accurate and can be used as a Sniper Rifle without a Scope if you know where to position it. You can click as fast as you can and Mow down enemys very fast.

Good trick to get Pistol kills when your shy of the 500 is to be a Sniper, get the Body shot with the M24 or M95, Stand up, Bunny Hop, Pull Pistol out Sidestep left, Zoom, Shoot Shoot Shoot. Since the Sniper shot leaves them with 2 bars of health left or half a bar at times, its 1 to 3 pistol bullets to kill. I have around 800? ...Oh man I haven't looked in a while... maybe its 900?. About 300 of thoes are from the method described, but entirely by choice, its just that the Bolt action is to slow.

It took me 4 tries to get my Expert Pistol, Did it on a Karkand 50 player Server.
First attempt 16 kills
Second attempt 14 kills
Third attempt 17 kills
Fourth attempt 19 kills.

By the time I was done I looked at the leaderboards and holy shit I was 650th for kills with Pistol, lol.

Its not easy to get...but Pistol are an underrated weapon.
When you go for it, be a Medic for sure.

My tip is :
DONT GO FOR IT
KD ratio and SPM falls off a cliff.
thats what happened to me when i got knife explosives and pistol badges

Yes thats what I thought. But i think what he meant was this. First you go for the 500 by the sniper pistol method(good theory, im going to try that tomorow.Tnx) and after u have the 500 then be a medic so you can heal yourself. I prefer to be a spec-ops or sniper because of the low-noise their pistol produce.

Using kits that have low accuracy primary weapons(ie. shotguns and anti tank submachine guns) encourages me to use the pistol alot more often and i manage to get a handful of kills.
So that's my advice, use the engineer or anti tank kits.

It's actually a really easy medal to get. Then again I'm in the top 300 with the pistol...

Pistols are VERY accurate when using iron sights, no matter how fast you click. The only problem is it has very slight recoil, so if youre firing quickly at a long range you have to readjust more. It normally takes 5-7 bullets to kill someone, but it's not hard at all. Try playing on a half-full server (of any size really as long as its half full) so you have more time to kill people.

The pistol badge is easier than the knife badge. If you can get knife, pistol should be no problem.

For one, the pistol is a ranged weapon, incredibly accurate when used properly and has a fairly large clip. When you're aiming at someone, aim for the chest and start clicking like crazy. As long as you dont deviate in your aim, all your shots should be going to the same place. If you have to fire standing up just leave a slightly longer pause between your shots.

If you're going for the badge, think like you did when you were going for expert knife. Be stealthy. Shooting someone in the back is just as easy as stabbing them, it just makes more noise. Use nothing but your pistol the entire round, I know it will be tempting to pull out your real weapon and use it, but refrain. Its for your own good.

I would also choose the medic class, so if you've gotten shot up by an enemy you can heal yourself. If you plan carefully you can even heal yourself in the middle of a firefight.

I have something like 1250 kills with the pistol (but a negative ratio )

Yeah its not hard, I dont have expert yet cus I dont have 500 kills, only really just started using the thing while getting my sniper hours up to 100 for the expert badge. I've gotten 20+ pistol kills a few times on sharqi, just snipe somewhere like the guy a few posts above said, get the body shot, hope they dont die (they may not have had full health to start with after all), whip the pistol out before one of your arsehole team mates kills him and hit him once... dead! And when moving about, keep an eye out for snipers and campers, if you can sneak up close behind someone you only need shoot them twice in the head, making it just as easy as using the knife, and there are usually plenty of these to be found on Sharqi around construction site and tv station.
