To be honest with you, and I am not arguing with you specifically on this, but I think a three wheeled vehicle like that is in fact VERY stable. When the two steering wheels are in the front, and the single drive wheel in the back. It is in fact very stable through turns.

Its when its the other way around (Like those old ATV's we see) with the one wheel in front and two in the back they turn out to be unstable.

There is this photo of this kick ass motorbike that was converted with a wheelbase like this sperm-car. It is pretty kick ass and they got figures for track times 0-60 times etc. I really want one

No. Rear collisions more likely to induce a flip, and cross-winds wouldn't be fun and games either.

Right, i guess thats one benefit to a heavier car. Maybe they should have just added WINGS to this sperm-car? But on a serious note:

I don't think this car would have much of a problem with cross wind. Did you see the shape of that thing from the side? I know its light but, its not gonna just blow away. I think the wind would travel nicely under and around it. I'm no wind tunnel expert though. Just an opinion.

Lol, all the talk about looks and oil companies and my FIRST thought was repair cost... I mean, I realize it is "only" $30,000 but that doesn't mean it is disposable. The computer went out in my Chevy Malibu (Less than $30,000) and cost about $1,000 to get replaced... In this thing, it might be $10,000... lol.

As for looks, IMO, it looks not like Jetsons (although it SOUNDED like Jetsons), not like sperm, but like a airplane missing the prop and the wings... If I weren't so lazy, I would photoshop one with a prop and wings to see which aircraft company's design they are really ripping off... lol...

As for me, I wouldn't mind having it as a to and from work only car. Have the family car with space for people and things, and this for my daily 40+ miles of driving... I have been thinking about buying a new bike for the trips too and from work, and actually feel that this tin egg might be safer than a bike... Especially in weather.

Yes, the profile is slim enough to where cross winds aren't going to be as much of a problem as, say, on an RV. But most collisions are going to send that thing for one of those funky spins that require a track reset in a video game.

From the front and rear, not so much, but the side profile looks like a cartoon sperm. With wheels.
