Im deciding between these 2:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Black Edition BOX AM2 WOF
or
Core2Duo E6750

the first costs 170€, the second 160€.
Which one is better?

Thanks for replies.

Probably going to be fairly big money for both of those get the e6750 and OC the tit's off it, as for graphics get the GT, or a G92 8800GTS if you can find the extra few €s.

It's true, I'm absolutely loving it! I managed to play the Crysis demo with everything on high and AA on full at 1280x1024 and was still able to play pretty well at around 25-30 fps.

But for .Sup, it doesn't seem like he's going for a budget system, and since the difference between 3870 and 8800 is minimal, go with the 8800.

K changed my mind a bit. I couldnt resist and ordered a Gigabyte 8800GT OCed a bit. Its core speed is 650 and the cost was 250€. My questions are: will this botleneck my 3500+ a lot and if my cheap LC power 500w power suply will handle it until January when i buy the rest of the components. Thanks for possible answers!

Wait, i think the PS has 550 watts.
