I'm a Sony Loyalist ever since the first Playstation. Sony's consoles, from what I've seen, were all fairly slow at the starting gate. Coming up on 08' I really see the PS3 beginning to show it's potential. But game wise...I think as of now, 360 is your best bet. In a year or so...I see the PS3 toping the 360 in titles.
Here's my analogy: PS3 is like a finely engineered car...it takes time to warm up, but when it does...it takes off like a rocket and lasts for a good time. 360 is like an American Muscle car...the thing rumbles and roars (literally! Have you heard the fan on that thing!?), but after that first year or two, it dies down and sits in your drive-way with a blue tarp covering it.

As an owner of all three next gen consoles, i prefer my 360. but then again i only have like 3 PS3 games.
