Anyone have any suggestions for a wifi printer for home use? I've been looking around Newegg but wanted to get some feedback.

Unfortunately it needs to be full color.

My perception is that HP makes the most expense ink and I'd like to avoid them.

For a point of reference my current printer is an HP Photosmart 1215.

I've got a Lexmark X6170, great printer never had any problems. It isn't wifi, but I just used software to network it to all of our computers.

HP makes the most wifi printers AFAIK, lol.

Try epson, their ink is actually relatively cheap

If you already have a good printer, just go with a wireless print server.  I have 4 printers hooked up to mine and love it!

i have a friend in a computer shop and he sells me printers with ink that is cheaper than the ink itself, so everytime i run out of ink i buy a new printer lol

you may be able to benefit from something similar?

I have an epson color printer, works really nice. They sell the ink at walmart and its small enough to fit in your pocket and doesn't have any security sensors.
