Why in the world is EA busy spending all their time harrassing players over stat padding and whatnot? Does anyone make any money from having better stats? Do they get neato prizes and balloons and cake and cookies? NO! Yet EA is going through all this trouble to wipe people's stats and mess with folks over the littlest ole' thing. Horse crap I say!
What EA needs to be trying to fix is the godawful team damage/kill setup they have. Why is it some fool who is purposely killing folks and has -500 teamwork points during the game require THIRTY, yes THIRTY!!, freaking votes to be kicked?!?!? Especially considering that one team only has like 16-19 players so they need a lot of people from the OTHER team to vote to kick the jerk as well!!!
Also, how hard would it be to institute a way to keep people from punishing for TK's when they are obviously doing it on purpose to screw folks. I'm sitting on a Wake server. . .I like flying but I hardly whore them (check my stats if you'd like). I get lucky enough to grab a plane out of the 50 folks standing around and 3 idiots jump under my wheels and then punish me so I start out with like -25 points. Obviously I could become a pariah and only play boards where TK is turned off or whatever but those servers usually suck and no one plays there. Surely EA could rub their 2 working brain cells together and come up with a way to stop this crap. I understand it isn't a perfect world and all, and that there will always be 12 yr olds acting their age (or older folks acting 12). However, it aggravates me to see EA and crew spend so much time and effort coming up with new ROE and wiping stats, yet they can't do something actually productive to make the game more enjoyable.
