I recieved a few gift cards for Amazon.com (75$) and want to get 1 or 2 new PC games.  Out of this list what do you recommend?  Or, another Title not listed.  I really don't have a preference for games, I like pretty much every type EXCEPT sports games.

My computer is not Dual Core and has an old FX-55 in it, two GTX 7800's SLI (So no DX-10), and 1 gig of Ram.  I intend to build a new box, but that's later in the year.  So, keep in mind the sort of weak computer.


For the love of god no WoW or WoW type games.

I have all the Battlefields, STALKER, CoD4, F.E.A.R., HL2, HL2 E1, Sim City 4,  bunch of older titles

I will be on and off for the next few days, sorry if I don't respond to questions quickly.  But, I'm just looking for some quick recommendations anyway.

That's kinda what I was thinking, I probably will, I just have some friends that play CoH and SupCom, so I was gonna see what others the cummunity recommends if I get two games.

Portal looks awesome, but I could also see it as a game that would make my viens burst as I screamed "GGOOOODDDDAAMMMIIIIITT!"

You wanna buy my CoH?  I only played singleplayer for a couple hours and I'm not good enough to play online.

Ugh, get WiC if you're considering an RTS. A great improvement on CoH, and SPC is a tad boring (especially compared to CoD, Orange Box)

I'd say Crysis but your computer probably won't get great FPS.

I say get the Orange Box. If not that, CoH. If not that, WiC.
