The film was awful. It was a terrible copy of 28 Days Later; along with the worst ending I have ever seen.

It was hollywood spewl. Only Will Smith saved it from being utter fail. His mesmerising performance saved teh day for me. But never again will I watch that crap. The infected actually made me feel sorry for them, the reverse of what I was meant to feel : fear.

that was the point of the film surely? It's meant to portray the way we behave when put under enormous strain and isolation

LOL if you think its similar to 28 days later watch 28 weeks later, sooo many similar plotlines. I watched both in the same day and had some serious deja vu.

I was very disappointed when i saw it....thin storyline, avg. acting and a stupid ending.... Will smith is the same as always, nothing new there...he may have gained in muscle mass though. and wtf is he supposed to be? an army man or a molecular biologist???? or both???

Edit: this does not mean I dont like Will smith...I loved him in The pursuit of happyness and he is kinda cool in I robot (same type of acting though as in I am legend)

And yes it was to short, they could easily have made it 20-30 (or more) min's longer thus giving the character more time to evolve in and maybe some more background.

All in all i Think this movie is an avg. movie.

The way the book ends is typical of that period though.  Like how many Twilight Zone episodes ended...

A copy of 28days later!!!!! Are you mad, It was completely different. The only thing in common was that it was another zombie flick. You might as well of said it was a copy of night of the living dead, or dawn of the dead, or land of the dead. Never-the-less I liked it.
