Or not... My work laptop has been running Vista for 6 months. Not a single glitch, hiccup, crash, or slowdown...

that's called the placebo effect. there is no way it's faster with the same hardware...

Then apparently you have no idea how an Operating System works. With constant idle time indexing/defragmentation, folder merging, and caching, it works much faster. Taking 2 of the exact same issued laptops, running the same benchmarks on them both with XP, and then running them again after 1 was changed to Vista and 1 was not, is a pretty accurate test. And guess what? Searching for files, loading Office Products, loading 3 different games, and loading Photoshop all had improved times. I call this "the actual effect."

We didn't convert over 300 laptops without a lot of testing.

Try saying something intelligent instead of "fail" and I might give you more credit for your statement.
