Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem

Blew major balls. Not only was there basically no plot but it was absolutely NOTHING like the first one. The first one was actually decent, but this is horrible. They broked the boundries of taboo quite frequently (killing kids, pregnant mothers, etc) and it was more of a gorefest than anything. If you want a gorefest with a storyline, rent the 28 ____ later series. Awesome zombie movie.

So yeah. Don't waste your time with this POS movie. I'd rather be the star of 4guys1cup with Mitch, Freezer, Andoura and cdogmn than watch this horrid movie again.

Rage infested humans? And tbh, that is nothing like debating how long superman's cape is. It simply is not a zombie flick. That's pretty relevant, the length of SM's cape isn't. But whatever, nvm.

I have every Predator/Alien movie and AVP on DVD so even if this one sucks I'll end up buying it to complete the collection. I hope it's not the Predators killing the pregnant women/kids because that would seriously contradict their code of honor established in the first Predator movie, i.e. only killing armed humans.

I agree actually. I just saw it and it sucked major ASS compared to the first one. The plot was just pure crap and the fight scenes kinda sucked ass. All in all a really shit movie. The first AVP was actually good and of course, nothing beats the original Predator.

The Golden Compass is a movie about a book about having demons as nice friends and killing god. Thats crossing a rather big line.

Sounds like my type of film. Who gives a shit if they kill of characters like that. They did it in the first one too (I have a family - Man then gets killed soon after)

It's realistic I guess, I'm sick of the fairytale bullshit anyway. I prefer some realism in films, especially surreal films. If you get me.

It's why I liked CoD 4 (storyline) too. It was realistic with alot of key characters dying. I don't know, but I find it triggers more of a response wrt the storyline when key characters die rather than it being the same as it always is.

I was very disappointed with AVPR. The AVP I thought was okay, but could have been much better. But after watching Requiem, it makes AVP look even better by comparrison.

My major gripe with the movie was that we only ever saw one Predator. And the Alien children looked nothing like the Predalien that was pregnating the women in the hospital.

I dont see what was so bad about the first AVP. It was actually fairly decent in terms of plot and action. AVPR is just horrible in comparison.

Anyway, pregnant women and kids getting killed I don't mind, add no story and It's pointless.
