I Bought a 19'' Wide Screen, but i cant set the resolution. The ''image'' of the screen stays in center of the screen and wont take all the screen.

Right click your desktop, click properties and go to display settings. I'm not sure what it is for XP as I've forgotton and on vista, but it should have a dropdown tab that lets you choose.
I just put it on my other computer wich is XP and it worked. But on the new one who runs vista it wont work....

Like I said, go to your desktop, right click, click Personalize > Display Settings and then on the bottom there should be a slider which'll let you change your resolution.
I did it... And if I put the resolution at 1400 by 900 like the wide screen is supose to support. the image gets huge and the icon also and all...Poseidon wrote:

I dont seem to be able to set it to a ''perfect'' resolution with nice and small icons....
Can you take a screenshot so I know what you're talking about?
Its on the other computer wich dont have internet yet... What im saying is that when i put the right resolution that is supose to be O.K with the screen, the icons, the toolbar etc... stays big, so its ugly.
