Something weird is going on with my internet and I have no idea why.  I have not changed anything.

It seems some websites I can open with no problem, and others will not even load.  These are websites I frequent.

For example:

Works as normal:  yahoo.com, avsim.com, bf2s.com

Will not even load: flightsim.com, the friggin windows update page, flytampa.org

Any ideas?

What does it say?

edit: it should be tracing all the steps it takes for the packet to get from your house to the flightsim.com server. (or the other way? I dunno)

Looks like a shitload of IP's / addresses.  Some type of time count for each of them.

Reset your router. This has happened to me many times before.

I did a ping...

PING flightsim.com ( 66.205.95.=== ) : 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 66.205.95.===: icmp_seq=0, ttl=235 times=50. ms
64 bytes from 66.205.95.===: icmp_seq=1, ttl=235 times=70. ms
64 bytes from 66.205.95.===: icmp_seq=2, ttl=235 times=80. ms
64 bytes from 66.205.95.===: icmp_seq=3, ttl=235 times=50. ms
64 bytes from 66.205.95.===: icmp_seq=4, ttl=235 times=50. ms
--- flightsim.com ping statistics ---
packets transmitted = 5 , packets received = 5 packet loss = 0%
round-trip min/avg/max = 50/60/80

Have no idea what any of that means tbh.

Try resetting your router, like Poseidon said. Hell, unplug everything... modem, router, computer. Wank for a bit, go for a walk, go get some Starbucks. Come back, plug the modem in first, then the router, then the computer. See if it works.

edit: Try kail's suggestion first >.>

Flushes and resets the contents of the DNS client resolver cache. {quote} - do the pages you are trying to load work now?

No sir.  And I finally got the windows update page to open, but the downloader fails because it times out I think.

IE.  But my friend is having the same problem.  She is on a laptop downstairs using the wireless.

Hmm.. I'd try resetting the router then if other people on the network are experiencing it also, like others have said above..!

It's not a DNS issue because he can't get to the site directly with the IP either.
