Personally, I would see strength to be an average run of lifting numbers, but an above average endurance circuit. Personal opinion of course.
I know a 260 lb rookie firefighter that can push the rig when its in neutral, but when he gets a hose pack and BA on him and goes into the fire, hes obliterated by exhaustion. On the contrary, there are plenty of skinny people in the 140-180 range that don't bench or squat a lot, but they suit up and run in like nothing. Weird topsy turvy thing going on.

My max ever was 325lbs. Now I dont max out anymore but when i do bench I do 225lbs around 12 times with no problem. Im 5'8 200lbs.

I dunno how much I can bench, I don't statpad meaninglessly. I cycle and I do karate, and I tend to focus on power over time rather than all at once.
Being able to lift half a ton ain't gonna get you away from a set of traffic lights. I'm able to out-accelerate any car on the road for about 30 feet, which translates to 0-15MPH. (And also lets me settle into my cruising speed almost for free due to the slipstream as they get their huge metal box past me.)

My record for the bench pressm on the machine (cheating yes i know)(but not really:P) is 110kg/242pounds and on the olympic bar i do 55kg/121pounds, but free weight is alot harder, including the balance lol
