I had this on my childs pc over xmas , it was due to her playing bf2 on a wireless connection , i moved her pc into my office and plugged her into the router , and she can play fine now. So it is to do with a poor internet connection. Hope this helps

I agree with Widow_Warrior.  I was at my parents place and was getting it all the time.  Couldn't even play a minute.  I was also on a slow laptop though, that may not have helped.

Theoretically, loosing key packets indicate network issues- the information between you and the server are not getting to each other properly.

However, everytime I have had "loosing key packets" (3? times), it has been the game that has just broke- in this case I updated PB, reapplied the patch and it all worked fine again.

If you haven't changed any network settings recently, and your sure no-one else on the network could be to blame, then I would update PB and apply patch first. If there have been network changes recently, I would look at updating firmware, checking firewalls, going wired instead of wireless, checking what other people are doing on the network etc.

Cheers. I manually updated PB and it has seemed to work.

Yay!
