Did you cry when he had to kill his dog?

Overall it was a good movie. The flashbacks, the first time you see the zombies(?), the part when his family died, and him having to kill his dog were instant classics. Also how he coped with being alone was done fairly well. I did feel however, that the zombies(?) could have been done a little better as well as the end assault on his house. That part seemed like action for the sake of action. Again, overall it was a good movie though.

Its a hive, its where the infected go during the day to hide from the light.. Thats also why he was going into that one house too look for supplies and survivors he was so cautious going into itPBAsydney wrote:
I was practically shitting myself when he went inside the dark house to get his dog. (WTF were they doing inside there anyway, you know, they were all in one big group, sleeping standing up or watching something?).
I've seen this movie twice so far, and the leader or whatever of the infected sees how he makes the trap when he traps one of the infected with that cable system and stuff like that. That's why he went out in the daylight and looked at him.Poseidon wrote:

The only bit I didn't get is when "Fred" is standing outside. Who put him there? I appreciate he hasn't been in contact with humans and all but why was "Fred" there? And why would he shoot him if he thought he was real anyway? And who made that trap that ties him up? Did he fall into his own trap?
Questions marks?
He shot him because he was confused and was hallucinating.
He used Fred as a trap because he knew that he would go investigate it..
Went and saw it today. It was awesome The bit where "Fred"'s head moved was probably the worst bit for me....The bit at the end with the car bombs...You would of thought he would of re-enforced his house a bit more if he knew he would have to use them at some point or another?
Heh. My thoughts exactly.Zimmer wrote:
The film was awful. It was a terrible copy of 28 Days Later; along with the worst ending I have ever seen.
It was hollywood spewl. Only Will Smith saved it from being utter fail. His mesmerising performance saved teh day for me. But never again will I watch that crap. The infected actually made me feel sorry for them, the reverse of what I was meant to feel : fear.
28 * Later series was much better.
I read the screenplay and it rocked years ago and was dying for this film to come out, so Yeah bit disappointed with it,
Will smith was actually good for a change.
