Bhutto knew who murdered Osama?

Apparently, on November 2^nd, Benazir Bhutto was on David Frost's show called Frost Around the World that airs on Al-Jazeera and she said this: "...and he also had dealings with Omar Sheikh, the man who murdered Osama Bin Laden..." Here's a video of her saying it. Skip to 2:10 if you don't want to watch the whole thing.

Now, if I recall correctly, Musharraf declared a state of emergency on November 3^rd and put Bhutto under house arrest... coincidence? I don't want to start a conspiracy, but I find it odd this was never mentioned on any major news station anywhere in the world. Not even David Frost picked up on it when he was interviewing Bhutto on his show. Is this real? I don't think the video was edited because the words seem to match up to her mouth movements. I searched for this and found no threads on it, so forgive me if this was posted before. Opinions?

In an interview with political interviewer David Frost, taken on November 2, 2007, the recently assassinated Pakistani politician, and Pakistan People's Party chairwoman, Benazir Bhutto, claimed that bin Laden had been murdered by Omar Sheikh. During her answer to a question pertaining to the identities of those who had previously attempted her own assassination, Bhutto named Sheikh as a possible suspect while referring to him as "the man who murdered Osama bin Laden." Despite the weight of such a statement, neither Bhutto nor Frost attempted to clarify it and no other mainstream media appears to have further inquired about it.

Interesting, but I don't think most people will believe that Osama is dead without a body and some way to ensure that the corpse is actually him.

Well it makes more sense than most conspiracy theories. While an increasing majority of the US public are against their government's actions overseas, the goal of capturing Bin Laden remains a key point for them because OBL had launched actual tangible attacks against America on their own soil. Obviously if he were to be out of the picture then it wouldn't be the end of the 'war of against terror', but it would mean that the administration would have to find a new figurehead/target to put a face to the enemy. If they pick some relative un known it might leave the average joe feeling disenfranchised (I mean how many people actually know who Abu Ayyub al-Masri is?).

Point is OBL provides the American government with a tangible target to justify foreign invasion intervention. While it is a bit far fetched admittedly, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they'd been suppressing his death as a means to keep their foreign operations going smoothly.

disclaimer: I'm not saying that if they are suppressing OBLs death it's because it would mean that they'd have to pull out, because obviously if the goal is to eradicate Al Qaeda then just getting rid of OBL won't cut it. I'm saying they could be using it as a means to keep things running smoothly.

As for the US needing to have Osama alive to keep the WOT going...the government has said (repeatedly) that the WOT isn't about one person (ie, UBL), or about a single movement (AQ). It's about combating violent Islamic fundamentalism. So the "theory" that the US needs to have UBL stay alive and unfound has no merit, based on it's own statements regarding him.

Maybe he's really dead, but I doubt this guy killed him, since he was arrested by Pakistani police on February 12, 2002. Unless he killed him after 9/11 and that date.

Here's what I don't get. If Omar Sheikh murdered Daniel Pearl, why would he also murder Osama? They sound like they work for the same cause. Maybe he wanted to take Osama's place?...
