I use a joystick for flying helis, its really improved my skill with the Apache on Ghost Town (And the Hind) The speed at which I can maneuver has improved, the speed in which I can fire off all rockets has improved, and lining up and keeping steady on targets has become a lot easier. I play mostly SF so I don't need to switch seats often. But when I do, trying to use the tv-missle and MG is impossible with a joystick in the way to make the switch to gunner and reaching for the keyboardTrigger_Happy_92 wrote:

You can shoot people out of helos with any of the attack chopper weapons, I've done it with pilot missiles, flown a gunner who has done it with the chain gun many times, and even with the TV once.Cyrax-Sektor wrote:

My gunner's are often shocked and left spinning in mid-air. I of course I apologize, and warn them I've been shot out immediately.
I'm not a fan of PR, too unlike BF2. But AIX has LBs and tons of other fun to fly aircraft, and is meant to be a SP mod, or a co-op mod, so you don't need to play online for a good time! AI's smart too.
I've SRAWed a guy out of a chopper on the helipad, but that only happened once. It's really weird. And whenever I do fly, and the AA missile hits me, I get healed because I often fly as a medic (makes sense since you might fly out of bounds).Flaming_Maniac wrote:
