They can get fired from a bank, and I can assure you that cash drawers are very low tolerance for error. The cashier is responsible for paying the difference after that. I think it is despicable that someone would knowingly steal from another person based on a simple error.LT.Victim wrote:
The cashier won't get fired for doing it..
Its not like it was on purpose, most people who work at a till or with money get a certain allowance for that kind of thing, at the end of the night if there is more then a certain amount missing, then there is a problem.

Right. I take it you have never been a cashier? Mistakes happen, and it's really shitty when people take advantage of it.LT.Victim wrote:

If your stupid enough to give someone two twentys instead of 1, then you deserve it.SenorToenails wrote:

With responses like "Oh well, what are you going to do?" and "Cry about it", what else is there to say to you? I didn't say anything snarky until you did.PspRpg-7 wrote:

OK. A buddy of mine used to work at a Mobil gas station. I stopped in to say hi one day, and some guy came to buy a bottle of pepsi. My friend made a mistake (he had been working there for over a year) and thought that a guy paid with a $50 when it was actually a $20. He gave ~$45 change, and the guy ran out of there. My friend realized his mistake too late, and had to eat the difference. That is the kind of mistake that I am referring to. Apparently, certain members of this forum are impervious to these kinds of errors.LT.Victim wrote:

While fries and gravy and mozza cheese works, it is even better with cheese curds, which is either white cheddar or another cheese of that texture. And I am not sure what makes the sauce better than other... some restaurants serve crappy Poutine, while next door you can have the best of the best.
Thats Americans Fault for not having Different colour'd money like Canada.SenorToenails wrote:

See here, we would never have that problem.

Now try and take a 50 for a 20.

Theft by deception, way to go smartass!
So some of these people are praising you for fraud and basically stealing food? Sad.
