So I just watched kptk92's video of him trying to sneak to the airfield, and it reminded me of one of my old ideas that I used to train my snipers in my PR Clan.
The Place
Zatar Wetlands 64 size
USMC Team
*2XSnipers w/M24
*Small Support Team including Commander, and Insert/Extract Team
-The Commander cannot use UAV, Supplies, or Vehicle Drop. Artillery only if the team is compromised.
-Support Team is either LAV-25 or RIB or UH-60 Blackhawk. Only to be used for Insert/Extract, not direct assault
MEC Team
*32 Players, Full Assets available from their home base -excluding Spec Ops kit and Jets
*1 Commander (Spec Ops Kit). Cannot use Scan, Command Spotting, Vehicle Drop, or Supplies. Artillery only if MEC is put in Red Alert mode [Before he is assassinated].
-Players using Sniper Kit must stay within Airfield
-Commander must stay within Airfield
The Purpose
The USMC Snipers are to sneak into the MEC Airfield, find and ID the Commander on base (His General Location will be known), Take him out, and then GTFO back to the Carrier. If the MEC can confirm they see and are capable of engaging the Snipers, the MEC team can go into Red Alert mode, in which Artillery is available, and ground vehicles can be manned. The Transport Helicopter can be flown during Normal Mode with a full crew.
It might be a bit of a stretch using BF2, but I think it would be interesting. I would need a bunch of volunteers, and if interested, we could do this a couple times with several different sniper teams. The trick is going to be getting a full and dedicated MEC team.
So what do you guys think?
