When i'm in the menu of BF2 or 2142 everything starts moving and there's big displaced triangled on stuff with disproportionate lighting occasionally and I can't see my crosshair in 2142. Is this a failing graphics card or is it something in the game?
Sounds like artifacting.
Get some compressed air and blow the dust out of your case.

Usually overheating card, or can be drivers(though prob not in your case).Poseidon wrote:

The thing is, it only happens in the menu and I get normal framerates and everything in-game.
Whoever gave me that Karma can go straight to hell. Chances are you don't live in my state so fuck off.
Lol, at least you got +1. But I can imagine what the karma said. Could've been a joke._j5689_ wrote:

I've had triangles pop around in BF2. I just updated my drivers (video card driver) and dusted my power supply.

Overheating's caused by dust in the case, so yeah.Volatile wrote:

Now it's doing it in Company of Heroes, which leads me to believe it will do it in every game's menu as well as that this is not a heat problem, but it is instead a driver problem.
If it's doing it in every game it probably IS a heat issue._j5689_ wrote:

Try finding your drivers though. What's your video card?

In all seriousness blow the card with compressed air and see what happens. Take the card out first so its easier to see where the dust and shit is. If it still fucks up after that then buy a new card.']['error wrote:

If this thing goes, i'll just have to look for a job early. The pharmacy will take anyone they can get methinks, lol. They have like three people working there at any one time and hardly have the manpower to restock the shelves.
Btw, if you keep giving me that Karma i'm going to look like bearz, except it will be positive Karma.

I fixed it, it was just a simple matter of uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.
