Well, I realize I'm probably confusing in how I switch mindsets over time. For a time, I was fiercely Libertarian, but now I'm a combination of many viewpoints, depending on the situation involved.
To me, it looks like this race was dangerous to begin with, so why continue the race when terror threats are involved? If the threats were serious enough to call off the race, it sounds like the authorities have some investigating to do. Hence, better safe than sorry....
