I just got a new iPod (wewt), but when I try looking at the pics on it, all I get is a black screen.
I do see the thumbnails, but it won't let me see it full view.

Ideas?

It's a 80 GB whatever.

What format are the pictures? .jpeg?

I updated it before putting the pics on.

They're all .jpegs.
..is that why?

No, just wondering. I had a friend try to put .tiff files on his mp3 lol.

I'm assuming the pictures aren't at outrageous resolutions either.

Try opening up an image in Paint, "Save As..." a jpeg, and make a new file. See if that does anything.

Well I did what you said, and now they all seem to work. O.o

Weird.

Thanks.

Edit: One more thing..
Is it possible to have a picture as a permanent background, instead of random album images?

The jpeg format was probably iffy, and the paint save-as thing fixed it.

As for the background, I have no idea, I don't have an ipod
