Well today I decided to install some skin programs like windows blinds and icon packager to make my desktop look better. Well after installing everything I tried to open BF2. For some reason right when I opened it it minimized which I thought was srtange. So I just unloaded (not uninstalled) the themes I had so my desktop was back to normal, and BF2 still does the same thing. It's most likely the skinning programs fault this is happening. Can anyone help me?

Yeah id try to uninstall it. My battlefield once had this problem where i would stat battlefield and everything worked until i clicked on Join Game. then once i got into it the Mouse and Keyboard stopped working. So i uninstalled battlefield, delited spywhere/adwhere and then re installed it. and it worked so try to re install.
Your freind didn't need to reinstall the whole game, all he had to do was reset the controls. I had that happen to me too and after resetting the controls my keyboard and mouse worked in-game again.
Oh and by the way, I got the game to work finally! I ran SmartClose and after that BF2 didn't minimize anymore, which means it must have been a hidden process in the background. Sorry about that, lol.
