For 2 weeks mice have been bothering me to no end every night. Constantly waking up to hear inadvertent scratching which I just can't kill. It's as if they are too smart for traps!
Well not anymore. Firstly, put some poison in my bin and sure enough it was all for it. It was so thirsty it ran straight out the door into one of the traps. Great. One down.
Today, a baby one (yep...they've had children, now they are screwed) ran into the living room. With my brother armed with a fire shovel (mini one for an old fire in our house), he whacked it hard. I then took out what I like to call "the stabber" to ensure its death.
Sorted. Tea - pizza! Yum, peace for an hour. I then go to the toilet and sure enough another mini one runs out of the bathroom. I had no idea where it went. I checked my room. Sure enough, there is was. Me and brother surrounded it, it found its way into the back of my amp. After a quick boot, it jumped out straight into an array of traps. It was still alive when it was caught. So that's outside freezing to death now.
Now, 3 mice later, I've barracaded the bottom of my door in hope they don't get in so I can get some sleep. I'll know if they are in though and my brother has done the same and is experiencing the same problem. These mice, one way or another, are going to die.
