Just this month they bought Fitz Hall, Patrick Agyemang, Hogan Ephraim, Akos Buzsaky, Matthew Connolly, Gavin Mahon and Kieran Lee.

They are suppose to be the richest club in the world now yet they are fighting to stay in the Championship league atm.

Some ultra rich guy bought the club just like Roman Abramovich did with Chelsea.

Is it worth a tenner down the bookies that they win the Champions League in the next 10 years??

I think so.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.

Yup, but he's only worth 1.1 Billion or so.  The main investor is worth nearly 20 Billion!!

OK so they need to buy Ronaldinho, Ronaldo (non fat), Messi, Berbatov, Fabregas, Cech, Evra, Ferdinand, Rooney, Essein, Drogba, Nesta, and Terry and we're talking promotion.

If all of them join QPR, and you bet £1 on that, you'll be a billionaire too.

Honestly, QPR sucked thelast 20 times we played them. It's about time some twit comes along to throw money at them.

Plus lets not forget that Chelsea had Mourhinho, these guys have friggin Luigi.

I was at the bridge yesterday, they're a decent team for sure...come the end of the season they should be pushing for a play off spot.

(I dont usually go to FA cup games, but this my last season on a season ticket, so I'm going to every game I can home and away)

Both of these statements are wrong. Ill give you both £1000 if they win either at all never mind in 10 years.

You will not take over an established team such as Arsenal, Manu or Chelsea in England. You will get whores coming for big pay days playing for you, while the talented plays will sign for the glamor cubs with prestige about them. Certainly Man U and Arsenal have youth that will be there for up to 10 years while constantly adding the best other talent around.

You got skillz, where would you go..Manu, Arsenal, Liverpool, Madrid, Barca, Milan or QPR?

First of all, of course it's not going to be instant...they have to reach the premiership first, at which point YES, skilled players will join them, if they're going to match chelsea or any other clubs wages.

Secondly, Blackburn rovers 94/95 says different...and they were by no means at the heights of man u or arsenal.

No they wont, they will get whores, the real players want to play for glamour clubs. Secondly Liverpool have spent £100+ million and they still cant win the league, so what fucking chance have QPR got. None so stop talking bollox, they will win nothing in the next 10 years, the end.

They might not win, but they might establish themselves as a regular in the premiership, like Wigan did/are (not sure where Wiga are at the mo')

Lol, you sound like you have a grudge agaist QPR of some sort.  Ever heard of Wigan Athletic?  They were languishing in division three back in 1995 and after Dave Whelan took over as chairman, 10 years later they were promoted to the Premiership and have been there ever since.  It is arguably due to a lack of further investment that stopped them pushing even further.  Fair enough it would be an even bigger task for QPR to do the aforementioned, but why not.

How can you say "both statements are wrong", I know as well as you that it probably won't happen, thats what a daft punt at the bookies is all about, something that seems so inconceivable, that the odds are crazy, 10 years later it could just pay off.  Stranger things have happened.

Lets face it, money matters, and it can buy you success.  Look at Chelsea who were only a half decent 5 or 6th placed premiership side.  Since their investment they have finished 1st in consecutive seasons and won numerous cups.

Thankfully it seems the bubble has burst for Chelsea now though.

Chelsea didn't get anywhere just by buying players, and neither will QPR. Chelsea got where they are because of Mourinho, and if QPR doesn't find a manager of the same calibre, and a coaching staff to go along with it, they'll be an individualists club just like Real Madrid were, without the appropriate individualists to do anything anywhere near the top.

Really? on what evidence are you basing that on? perhaps it's the fact that we have the easiest 2nd round tie in the champions league, or the fact that we are still in the FA cup, or even the fact that we are in the semi-finals of the league cup...wait I know what it is, we're out of the title race! 6 points is close enough for me...

And we're doing all this with arguably the worst injury list in the premiership...I don't see how the bubble has burst.

Its just that, since Mourinho has left it seems there is a lack of spark about them, I cant put my finger on it really, just a hunch.  Don't take it personal.

I'm not ...but as you can imagine I hear this numerous times from friends and foes alike.

I agree, the new management is having very little influence and there is no spark in that section, but the spirit of the players (the legacy of mourinho I guess) is carrying them through, for how long remains to be seen, hopefully long enough to get some silverware.

I definately want to see a new manager next season, but Grant signing a 4 year contract doesn't give me much confidence
