"Other (pls state)" is there for a reason douchebag, the poll is limited and to be impartial I listed the films that were top in the box office for 2007 according to Wikipedia, can't argue with that.MetaL* wrote:
To the OP: You listed shitty movies like The golden Campus, Ocean's 13, and Transformers.
yet you left out the one movie that deserves to be on that list and should win an Oscar for best picture.
"No Country for old men"

Still the topic is "What was the Best film to come out of 2007?" which gives anyone the impression "Oh the best movie of the year you say?" maybe you should have thought about naming it "What was the Best blockbuster to come out of 2007?" or "What was the film that had the most CGI in 2007?" because a lot of the films listed are shit, k cockmaster?justice wrote:

Yeah, it was great. All that 3D work must have taken ages. Lots of hard work was put into that movie.SharkyMcshark wrote:
The only answer is Transformers (robots in disguise!)
That's your opinion, funny that 69 of the 77 votes went to the films on that list, I'm not going to argue this point anymore.MetaL* wrote:

No Country for Old Men sucked ass. The Coen Brothers are almost as overrated as Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.MetaL* wrote:

Too bad Home Alone didn't come out in 2007 eh Gary . Well, my 2 bucks: I loved 3:10 to Yuma and No Country for Old Men (why is it not on the list!). Not really a western fan, but both movies were very strong. Big Coen Brothers fan though ^^.M.O.A.B wrote:
Awww I'm somewhat tied between a good few, Shooter, Die Hard, Bourne, Simpsons, but I'll have to say Transformers, in fact seeing as I watched the movie last night, I'll watch the cartoon movie now

I am truly surprised to see how many people voted for I am Legend, imo the worst movie of this year that I saw. Only Will Smith made up for it a little. But seriously, compare it to 28 days later and you'll be laughing your head of throughout the whole movie.
Out ofthe list you posted I'd have to choose 300, not because it's such a great movie, but it's just epic and I loved the comic and it's transision on screen is very well done.
I'm 28, and REAL movies are made by Christopher Nolan, Paul Greengrass, Andrew Niccol, and Michael Mann. I'm not a film snob, so the pretentiousness of the Coen Brothers, Tarantino, and Rodriguez don't appeal to me. Sin City sucked by the way, as did the comic. Frank Miller is overrated too.Eldu wrote:

--> Quentin Tarantino may be overrated, but he did make good movies, his last one sucked though. Rodriguez did a great job on his last one and Sin City is simply one of the best Film Noirs ever made.
Well, you have a good taste for movies expect for your dislike of the people named above. <3 Michael Mann although the kingdom and especially Miami Vice dissapointed me. Oh well, everyone has his own taste I guess.Turquoise wrote:

Don't get me wrong... I like some of the Coen Brothers' stuff, but I couldn't stand No Country for Old Men, and I've never really liked any of their movies as much as most people do. I liked most of Tarantino's stuff until Kill Bill came out. Those 2 movies sucked. As for Rodriguez, I really haven't liked anything by him other than El Mariachi.Eldu wrote:

You'd better like The Big Lebowski, we're ok then . Also Jamie Foxx fan, but kingdom just didn't catch on.Turquoise wrote:

I actually really liked The Kingdom, even if it was a bit patriotic. I also really liked Miami Vice, but I really like Jamie Foxx in general, so I kind of have a bias there.
