Anyone here use a vid card fan?  I'd like an easy way to get some extra cooling and this seems to be the cheapest option ... $4-18.  Please post what you use and why you like it.  These are what I've found so far:

You mean a slot fan?

I use one.

Seems to do its job, but I can't remember how much it lowered the temps by.  I'm sure it helps a ton cause I have no fans down there, and the video card fan exhaust would be stagnant air if it weren't blown out by this fan.

They are ok, I used one until it Started to sound like a washing machine on spin.

I Have an 80cm fan now.
I just pulled off all the metal strips, then fixed it in with screws so it blows straight out the back.

I think it works a lot better.

I'd do that if you have enough room, it takes up about four slots.

4 slots?!  More like 1 or 2 at the most.

And most people don't have a 80 mm fan area down there by their PCI slots

Lol @ me, don't ask how big my dick is

8cm     80mm      duh

It's stood up in the back under my graphic card.

EDIT: I don't mean a slot fan, just a normal case fan.

Did you have 4 mounting screw holes on the case itself?  Or did you just put a 80mm fan there?

I just put the fan there.

It worked out that the screws are tight in each corner, so they how it really well.

It only just fits though.
