I was in 5th or 6th grade and the library had just gotten modems. I'd go to the library and surf the internet (with a library staff next to me, watching). Later on I remember going online at a friend's house, and we were so amazed that every time we'd see a commercial (be it on TV, a billboard, etc.), we'd try and remember the link so that we could check it out.
