Oh great christ.

My ASUS motherboard is giving chipset fan failure warnings.

Any advice on replacing it with minimal tears would be appreciated.

I got in touch with ASUS tech support two motherboards back and got them to send me a new, better chipset fan with little hassle and no money. (except of course, the time it takes to get to you)

I have heard of people zip tying auxillary fans on their moboards...lol
you could always take the side cover off and put a big house fan on the side of your case...
