For all of you who have Rock Band, this may be something to keep in mind. Apparently everyone and their mother is breaking their pedals, regardless of how gentle they are being with them. A shitty design flaw to be certain, but I like this solution. I'm actually considering getting this before my drum pedal breaks, because I'm quite certain it will, and I'd rather not get a replacement POS that will eventually break again.

They aren't metal to begin with? Odd that they didn't just ship it as metal like real bass pedals are.

Yeah, well, they are in it to save money, but they're causing more trouble than good, unfortunately. Supposedly the pedals v2 are better designed, but they just came out, so they could shit the bed as well.

I'll probably be ordering this within a month.

Mine have been heavily used by at least eight different people over the last two weeks, and we have had zero problems.

Hmm, that's good to hear. With any luck mine won't break, but I'm a little skeptical after reading through the tons of drumset problems people have been having.
