well two of my classes are using new editions so i couldnt get them used. one was $150 and the other was $130. yayyyy. my other class i was able to get used so i got it for $55 (original price being $115) yayyyy for school........
I bought them from Amazon (Free Two-day shipping!). I tried a few online sellers like I usually do, but they didn't have the books I needed with a delivery date that I considered acceptable. Most semesters have cost me ~$100-200, through buying international editions and used texts.blademaster wrote:

Edit: I only bought a book from the bookstore once, ever. It was a new book and the same price as Amazon.

I haven't purchased mine yet. I wait until the second week when the crowds die down. Never need them this first week.
It'll probably cost me up to $500.

Uh.. 30 dollars...
I only had to buy one book, and it wasn't mandatory.. just helps out in one of my courses.. but I'm only in Grade 12, next year is going to be fun I assume...

$0 - I graduated from FSU in 03' bitches.... But yea, it's a scam -then you are only further insulted when they offer to buy it back at the end of the year for three bucks when you paid ninety for it a few months earlier. I kept one of the books from a class I hated (I was offered .50) and took it to the gun range... The therapy of it was worth way more than the 50 cents they offered me.
I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.
$227. 1 new book and 3 used books...
