So let me get this straight. This card is two GPU's on one board. Ok. So you have the potential of Quad GPU's with a motherboard that has two PCI-E slots.

Ok.

So what about this?

4 PCI-E slots. So if you put 4 of these cards in there. You have 8 GPU's?

Even if they sort out the drivers, it still won't play Crysis.

you can't put these in octo crossfire. these cards only have one crossfire connector. But recent news from Intel say that the Skulltrail would support 4 R680s!!! 
so I think you need a Skulltrail for that.
