It sounds pretty reasonable, after Obama's previous win and polls indicating he'd win again, why not make sure the person running against him is a half decent candidate.CameronPoe wrote:
What is it with all this bullshit 'media calling it for XXX candidate' - what's the fucking rush? The result isn't in until all ballots are tallied and the returning officer announces the final numbers. As for the results - I suspect many independents thought Obama was safe so they lent McCain a hand. I think it's a good thing in the long run, because all of the other Republican candidates are incipient.

What the fuck are you on about - even if he is Muslim, which I do not for one second believe, it by NO means shows him as an extremist, you fucking ignorant prat.
Muslim does not equal to terrorist - if everyone was as brainwashed by fox-media, the USA would be a place where I never want to return to. If every Muslim were a terrorist, there would be no USA. Think about it.
Goddamn... do you vote?

I hope you feel mighty stupid for being drawn in by a bunch of bullshit some fearful bigot created. I suggest you practice gathering your own information and opinions instead of relying on these types of people to give you theirs.logitech487 wrote:

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya.
That is racist, because he assumes that a black father is a negative issue, despite the Muslim part, which is discriminatory as well.

Sorry. I was focusing on the anti-muslim aspects and overlooked the black reference.

Founded? One nation under god was added in the early fifties. Besides, whether we are talking about Christianity, Islam or Judaism (or any other religion where there is but one almighty god) the part "god" has the exact same meaning, nota bene: the same god.logitech487 wrote:

Fuck sake America, what are you doing voting for Hillary. -1 for you, "New" Hampshire.

Even if he is a Muslim, so what?!?! It doesnt make him any worse or better than a christian.logitech487 wrote:

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in
Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from
Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHIEST from Wichita, Kansas.
Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two years
old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then
married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6
years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM
school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school.
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick
to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school."
Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama's
introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was
temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon
after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education.
Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced
his, stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta.
Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists
who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically
expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking Major public office in the United
States, Barack Hussein Obama hasm joined the United Church of Christ in an
attempt to downplay his Muslim background.
ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the
Holy Bible, but instead the Kuran (Their equivalency to our Bible, but very
different beliefs)
Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.
The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out,
what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President
of the United States, one of their own!!!!
Please forward to everyone you know. Would you want this man leading our
country?...... NOT ME!!
If you do not ever forward anything else, please forward this to all your
contacts.........this is very scary to think of what lies ahead of us here
in our own United States........ better heed this and pray about it and share it.

That is a popular theory floating around. With the amount of votes the Dems pulled all together I don't know though. A Hillary win is a win for the GOP in my opinion. Bringing down "the Witch" is a rally point and practically the battle cry of the GOP. I really think the Republican campaign donations are driven by her being in the race. I can't help but feel Edwards is lapping up the Obama votes as well. I was watching the precincts reporting in and I would notice Obama's percent drop while at the same time Edwards would creep up.CameronPoe wrote:

funny, isn't it ? The popular vote actually has no legal significance at all. And ultimately, the electoral college may vote for whoever they want.
