Why are you calling your teacher a nerd, for someone to be this pissed over computers in your school you can't say muchFreezer7Pro wrote:
During christmas break, the school (Read: Computer teacher) arranged for the long-planned upgrade of the school's computers, wich I had been longing for ever since I got to the school. I knew that when they upgraded, the old computers would be either given away or sold cheaply. Well, I knew wrong. Fucking wrong. Even though I've told the teacher (Fucking bitch) to save anything that almost worked (litterarly) for me if it was to be thrown away. And GUESS WHAT THE FUCKING BITCH-LICKING CUNTFACED DORKNERD DOES?! SHE THROWS AWAY 20 FULLY WORKING FUCKING COMPUTERS! TWENTY!!!!!! I sold an 1.4GHz P4 Willamette/512/20GB for 140€ a month ago, so what would I not get for:
2.4GHz P4 Northwoods
512MB RAM
40GB HDD
GeForce 5600
I'd get at least 200€/piece for those! AND THE FUCKING IDIOT THREW THEM AWAY! And her excuse was even fucking worse:
"These computers are so old and tired that we'd only get in trouble if we sold them, not everyone's so into computers as you"
"Old and tired"? Well, GUESS WHAT, if you don't defrag a computer that's used daily for five years, OF COURSE IT GETS FUCKING TIRED!
And why would they have to sell them? Why not just fucking give them away for free?! Would they get in trouble for light exteriour damage and broken CDROM drives then? I DONT FUCKING THINK SO!
I just wanted to shout FUCK YOU in the face of the bitch, right there, in front of the whole class.
My thoughts sail especially towards DU, to whom I had thought of donating one if I'd get one... He's trapped on a <GHz computer...
What's even worse is what they've gotten instead; For usage with only Firefox, GIMP and a math game from '94, and with no HDD access:
AMD Athlon X2 4400+
1GB RAM
160GB HDD
7800GT
What weapon should I use to kill her? I'm so full of pure rage at the moment that I can't sleep. That bitch had even promised me to save stuff.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
it better be or else
THats probably one of the reasons that, you didnt get them, you'd already been banned from the computers due to e-vandalism.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Teach your teacher something (you prolly do that all the time but still)
Oh, and when I showed her a burned-out Celeron 2GHz S.478 (Wich I DONATED to the school togheter with a motherboard and basically a whole computer, for illustration purposes in class, in favour of their Pentium Socket 7 with non-standard mobo, etc.) she said "Oh, so they've gotten smaller again? Is it really faster than the bigger one?"
Also, why the hell should she give you the computers, she's not obliged to do anything like that for you
your an idiot if you honestly think a school will give their old computers to you so you can sell them off and make huge profit
but your still in school, so i guess you probably dont know better
but your still in school, so i guess you probably dont know better
Rip out the AMD Athlon x2 4400+ and the 7800GT and in return I will send you my 3800+ and 7600GT
They have all of that in them? I say fucking take one of them apart one day and swap in lesser parts.
Freezer's posted the name of his school a few times in old threads, a couple of people know his real name as well, maybe we should email this thread to his school
Boy, wouldn't that be retarded!I'm Jamesey wrote:

- Computers may have been owned by the Government and not the school;
- Computers may have been already de-taxed and therefore by law, they need to sell the computers with a VAT price;
- May have important school data on drives. Formatting 20 computers is not fun.
I'm willing to bet they'd be in trouble if they 'gave' them away.

He seems to be proud of his teacher's pet status. Teachers don't like pets that talk shit about them on the internetDavid.P wrote:

No, since they give away the ones in the class rooms.kylef wrote:

And when I asked for a valid reason, she said that she'd get in trouble for selling them, because they're so shitty. That people'd complain.

Well it's obvious what you've got to do now. Take twenty new ones as compensation.
Why are you getting so worked up about this?
You asked them to save you every PC (Or atleast some) they had for you, they supposedly promised they would save you something, they ended up saying no and you fucking cry like a girl? They had no obligation to give you anything, so don't get so stressed.

I'm not trying to flame you, but I seriously think you need more friends.

Had the same over here - but as I know now: the teacher does not always tell you EVERYTHING!
In my case there were law issues which made selling impossible. Maybe a known expert could have said: "remove the harddrive and sell the rest" but for the law a computer is a fully working machine (thus including the hard drive from which the OS loads) so they had to dump them all completely.
So don't always blame your teacher.

This thread is hilarious. I thought I wouldn't even dignify it with a reply. But I might aswell.
Freezer, does it really matter? Sure you could've made some extra cash. But we know you wouldn't have sold them or anything anyway. They just would've been thrown on your giant pile of shit you got in your room.
It's almost like you just want to have shit, just so you can have shit.

Emm my school recently got new computers, and theres about 100 of the old ones + monitors sitting in the storage place, they said I could have them when I asked if I could.
But when you say 200 euro each, who would you sell them too?

Could you go get some and send them here?
Yet again, they're selling/giving away the class room computers to employees. They'll give 'em to pupils if the employees didn't take all.Krupp23 wrote:
