you could try and see what happens? I bet it will use less than 30w. It has to. Since my old GeForce 4 used ~50w.

no it doesn't. no way it will blow up with the few watts extra needed. In worst case scenario it will just crash. no worries.

Because I got the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty 7.1 Champion Series Sound Card

So going to give him my old one and my old 5:1 speakers.
