OKay i got a x2 3800+ and i wanted to boost it a little... I oc'ed it to 2.3 ( 2.0>2.3) and its a very smooth increase since ppl raised this cpu to 2.8 and some even more... I didn't wanted to change to voltage or anything so i tried 2.3 as a 1st overclock. I raised the FSB to 230 x 10 (ht multiplier) . The system booted and the temperature a idle was just a little more than usual and load temp. was around 48-50.. I played about an hour of Cod4 and everything was all right and temperature stayed normal... Now tonight i came back from work and my pc didnt wanted to boot.. I got these 3 beep*beep*beep ... So i turn the pc of with the button.. I restart it and now it started normal but my oc is gone... I dont know why.
