Doing it as we speak:
800g mince (300g's go to my dog with rice n buiscuits)
1 onion
12 Mushrooms
2 Jars Ragu sauce (Bolognaise)
Pasta
Break the mince into frying pan, low heat leave wooden spoon on top (easy to get to to stir)
Chop onion up and mushrooms get them frying in seperate pan. (same again with wooden spoon)
Drain the cooked mince allow the excess fat to run down sink.
Put the drained mince back into mince frying pan, mix with onions and mushrooms (edges should be golden = cooked)
Pour one jar of sauce on top and stir, fill 1/3 back up with water, put the lid on and shake. Pour jar number 2 into the mix and mix with spoon. Fill 1/3rd of this jar up with water and shake, add the two water'y contents into the spag bog mix, stir wel with sppon, reduce heat.
This has probably taken 10 mins so far,
Fill a saucepan with water, add a small amount of butter, allow to boil, reduce heat. (this can take 10 mins)
Go and sit at pc log onto bf2s.com and read the new threads. (reply to one giving cooking advice if required)
Return to spag bog every few mins to stir gently (you will notice the amount is reducing, thats why we added water)
Add pasta to the simmering water and increase heat a little, cook for approx 10 mins.
Ciabatta is optional if so put the oven on and heat gently for 5 mins.
Total cooking time 30 mins Total cost approx £5 Very healthy meal enough to feed 4-6
Hope that helps, my kids were doing it at 10 years old under supervision.
